About this car

This 1982 300TD is offered on eBay by beverlyhillscarclub in Los Angeles, CA. The asking price is $14,750. The car is finished in Light Ivory, an automatic gearbox, power from a 3.0L Diesel I5 engine. The listing does not state a mileage. On a W123, the vacuum system, glow plugs on the diesels, and rust in the jacking points and rear wheel arches are the usual places to look first.

What the photos show

Same physical car as the Hemmings 300TD listing in this set — same Beverly Hills stock number 20262 and same California plate 123MBNZ — so do not count it twice.
Cream wagon paint is even and glossy with no rust or dents seen, so no paint money needed.
Chrome grille, bumpers and roof rack are bright and complete, so no chrome cost.
Tan seats front and rear look clean with no tears, so no reupholstery bill.
Door cards are complete but wrinkled and sagging in places, so budget a little to refit them tight.
Dash top and wood trim look clean from the passenger side, saving a dash repair.
Cargo area is clean and the spare-well cover panel is shown loose but present, so no missing cargo trim to buy.
Engine bay is complete and tidy, but the air cleaner lid is rusty and peeling, so budget for refinishing that one piece.
Bundt wheels are clean and tires have good tread, so no immediate tire spend.
Underside is not shown in the sampled photos, so I can't judge underside rust or leaks from photos.

Money: At $14,750 this wagon's clean paint and interior support the price, but it is the same car as the Hemmings listing at the same price, not a second car.
