About this car
Hemmings listing in Lithia Springs, GA. 380SL in Sunlight Yellow with beige canvas top and matching hardtop.
What the photos show
- Pale yellow paint looks glossy and even all around in the showroom shots, no repaint needed on what is shown.
- Chrome bumpers and grille look bright and straight, no chrome bill visible.
- Tan-pink seats look clean and well shaped with no tears, and the door cards match, no need to reupholster.
- Engine bay looks clean and complete with a tidy silver air cleaner, budget a service rather than bay work.
- Bundt wheels look clean and the BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires show good tread in close-up, no immediate tire spend visible.
- Yellow hardtop is shown fitted in several shots and matches the body, a plus with no second top to buy.
- One wheel-well shot shows dusty, aged brake and suspension parts, budget a brake and suspension check.
- Dash is only shown as a speedometer close-up reading 051838, so I can't judge the full dash or wood.
- Soft top is not shown in the sampled photos, so I can't judge the top fabric or window.
- Underside is not shown in the sampled photos, so I can't judge rust underneath.
Money: At $15,995 the glossy yellow paint, clean engine and tidy tan interior make this 380SL look fairly priced, subject to checking the unseen soft top and underside.
