About this car
Hemmings listing in Beverly Hills, CA. Offered on Hemmings in Beverly Hills, CA.
What the photos show
- Blue paint is peeling in patches on the hood and the door paint is cracked, so a full repaint is in the budget.
- Front bumper chrome is heavily rusted, so rechrome or replacement money is certain.
- Rust shows at the rear wheel arch, sill and lower rear panel, so body welding comes before paint.
- Dark soft top is shown up in one photo and looks whole from a distance, so check it closely before budgeting a new one.
- Blue seats look intact with no big tears, so the seats are one of the cheaper parts of this project.
- Dash top wood is peeling and lifting badly across the front, so a full dash wood refinish is real money.
- Trunk floor shows widespread surface rust in the photo, so trunk repair money is coming.
- Engine bay is painted black with the paint peeling, and green paint shows under the hood, so the bay needs stripping and repainting as part of the job.
- Firewall and inner panels show rust around the battery area, so engine-bay rust repair adds to the bill.
- Bundt alloy wheels are fitted and look straight, and a spare wheel and jack are photographed, so the rolling kit looks complete.
- No underside photos in the sample, so I can't judge the floors from below — get lift photos before you pay.
Money: At $29,950 this blue Pagoda is a full restoration project — paint, chrome, trunk rust and dash wood will cost multiples of the entry price.
