About this car
Hemmings listing in Beverly Hills, CA. Offered on Hemmings in Beverly Hills, CA.
What the photos show
- the photos do not show a Mercedes at all: every photo is a red Datsun roadster convertible, so this listing's gallery belongs to a different car
- photos are watermarked Beverly Hills Car Club stock 19159 and the car wears California plate 1AYH123
- the dash carries a Datsun badge and the engine is stamped Mazda DOHC 16-valve, so the pictured car is a Datsun with a Mazda engine swap
- the pictured roadster's red paint is glossy and its black top and cloth seats look tidy, but none of that describes the Mercedes in the title
- because no photo shows the titled car, the paint, chrome, seats, dash, engine and underside of the actual 1979 S-Class can't be judged at all
Money: at $8,950 there is no photo evidence of the Mercedes being sold at all; do not pay anything until the seller produces photos of the actual car.
