What the photos show
- These are the same studio photos as the Hyman Ltd listing, Hyman plate and watermark included, so this is the same black 190SL, not a second car.
- Black paint is deep gloss, no repaint needed.
- Chrome is bright and straight, no re-chroming bill.
- Black leather seats show only light creasing, no need to reupholster.
- The odometer photo reads the same as the dealer listing, which confirms it is one car photographed once.
- The black soft top fits tight with a clear window, no top spend.
- The engine bay is tidy with clean Weber carburetors, no detail bill.
- The included hardtop's headliner looks stained and aged, a small refresh cost.
- Can't judge the underside, no underbody photos are shown.
Money: at $107,500 this Hemmings ad and the Hyman listing are the same car at the same money, so there is nothing extra to gain by chasing both.
