1961 Mercedes-Benz 190SL

• the cream-white paint is soft-gloss and even, with bright chrome bumpers, no paint money needed for a driver
• the tan leather interior looks freshly trimmed, seats and rear deck area smooth and clean, no reupholstery bill
• the dash is painted body colour with tan trim and looks tidy, gauges complete, no dash work on sight
• the engine bay is clean and complete, painted inner wings tidy, no bay detailing spend beyond upkeep
• the black soft top is shown up at the gallery tail and looks taut, though the rear window reads slightly cloudy, a possible future top-window cost
• the underside is smothered in fresh black coating, so the metal looks sealed but original condition can't be judged under the coating — don't pay rust-free money on coated photos
• two of the sampled photos are the dealer's 'We Buy Classic SL' ad graphics, not this car, so the real gallery is thinner than its count

Money: at $89,950 the cream 190SL looks like a finished, attractive driver, but the fresh undercoating hides the one thing 190SL money hinges on — the floors beneath it.
