1958 Mercedes-Benz 190SL

• the white paint is mostly clean but chipped at the door edges and sills, so budget for touch-in and edge repair money
• the chrome hubcaps and bumpers shine well, so no re-chrome bill shows here
• the blue seats look clean and well kept front and rear, so no reupholster bill is needed here
• the dash gauge shown is clear and legible, so no gauge bill shows in that close-up
• the hardtop headliner shown from inside looks dark and intact, so no headliner bill shows there, but the soft top itself is not shown up
• the engine is only seen from a distance across the bay, so its detail condition cannot support mechanical money from these photos
• a plastic bin of loose, rusty spare parts is photographed with the car, so expect sorting and refitting time and money
• the underside and wheel wells are dirty with heavy peeling undercoat, cracked coating and rusty springs and drums, so budget for a full underside strip, check and re-coat

Money: at $73,995 the tidy blue interior helps, but the peeling, cracked underside coating is the headline spend — that work belongs in the offer, not after it.
