About this car
A 1972 250C coupe at Beverly Hills Car Club in Beverly Hills, California, priced at $21,750. The seller's page title names only the C-Class range; the verification pass identified the car as the W114-chassis 250C coupe. These pillarless coupes are valued on straight, rust-free bodywork and a sound interior — check the rear quarters, the floor pans, and the window seals in person.
What the photos show
- Black paint looks deep, glossy and straight from every angle, no dents or rust showing, so no paint bill in sight.
- Chrome grille, bumpers and trim look bright and clean, no rechrome cost showing.
- Red seats look excellent, vivid and unmarked front and back, no need to reupholster, this interior looks like money already spent.
- Dash looks complete with a fabric cover on top, wood trim presentable, so no dash cost is visible, though the cover hides the dash surface itself.
- Engine bay looks clean and complete, tidy wiring and a clean air cleaner, no missing parts or heavy grime visible.
- Underside on the lift looks clean and solid, floors coated and straight with no rust holes showing, no structural repair bill in sight.
- Steel wheels with Mercedes hubcaps look tidy and tires show good tread, no immediate replacement cost.
- The final sampled photo duplicates the first exterior shot, so the gallery repeats at least one image.
Money: At $21,750 the photos make this look underpriced for its condition, black paint, red interior, clean engine and solid underside all backing the ask, just verify it drives as good as it looks.
