About this car
Hemmings listing in Milltown, NJ. Offered on Hemmings in Milltown, NJ.
What the photos show
- Cream paint looks glossy in the garage shots, front and rear, with no dents or rust visible, no repaint judged from indoor light.
- Chrome bumpers and grille look bright and straight in the garage light, no chrome bill visible.
- Tan seats look clean and well shaped with no tears visible, no need to reupholster.
- Dash top looks dark and intact and the centre console wood looks worn and faded, budget wood refinishing if you want it sharp.
- Trunk carpet looks stained and tired, budget a deep clean or new trunk carpet.
- Brown soft top is shown up on the car in one shot and looks taut, and the car is open in others, no top replacement judged from these photos.
- One sampled photo is just the car under a cover, which shows nothing about condition.
- Wheels look like chrome-trimmed Bundts and tires look presentable in the garage, no immediate tire spend visible.
- Engine bay is not shown in the sampled photos, so I can't judge it.
- Underside is not shown in the sampled photos, so I can't judge rust or leaks underneath.
Money: At $16,000 the cream paint and tan interior look honest for a garage-kept 450SL, but with no engine or underside photos, keep inspection money back before paying full ask.
