About this car
1979 450SL at Amyn Motors in Tucker, GA. Orange over cream, 4.5L V8, convertible. The dealer publishes no price for this car, so the number has to come from a call. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- orange paint looks glossy and straight all round, no dents or rust are visible in the sampled shots, so no paint bill is obvious
- chrome and rubber bumpers look tidy, no bumper repair is obvious
- cream seats look excellent with no tears or sagging seen, so no reupholstery bill is obvious
- console wood looks glossy in the close-up, though the radio is a modern replacement, so no wood bill but budget if you want a period radio
- the soft top is shown raised in a tan colour and folded in others, it looks intact, so no top replacement is obvious
- engine bay looks complete and reasonably tidy, no obvious missing parts, so no immediate bay cleanup is obvious
- no hardtop, trunk or underside photos were sampled, so you cannot judge those areas from these shots
Money: a bright, tidy 450SL with no cosmetic bills showing — with no price listed, check for a hardtop and inspect the underside before valuing it
