What the photos show
- red paint looks glossy and straight down the full side profile, no paint correction bill visible from here
- side trim and chrome look complete and aligned in profile, no trim hunt money showing
- polished Bundt-style wheels look bright, no wheel refurb spend visible
- black seats are only seen from a distance with the top down, too far to judge, so no upholstery saving can be claimed
- can't judge the dash, no interior close-up is shown, so dash cost is unknown
- can't judge the soft top, it is down and not shown raised, so top cost is unknown
- can't judge the engine bay, no under-hood photo is shown, so engine cost is unknown
- can't judge the underside, no lift photo is shown, so rust cost is unknown
Money: at $24,900 sold, the clean side profile supports the money for a tidy-looking 450SL, but the unseen interior, engine and underside mean the price is backed by one photo only.
