What the photos show
- red paint looks glossy and even in this front three-quarter shot, no repaint bill visible from here
- front chrome and grille look bright and complete, no rechrome money showing
- Bundt wheels look clean, no wheel refurb spend visible
- tan seats are visible over the door with the top down and look intact from here, but too far to judge wear closely enough to bank an upholstery saving
- can't judge the dash, no close interior shot is shown, so dash repair cost is unknown
- can't judge the soft top, it is down and not shown raised, so top replacement cost is unknown
- can't judge the engine bay, no under-hood photo is shown, so engine work cost is unknown
- can't judge the underside, no lift photo is shown, so rust repair cost is unknown
Money: at $24,600 sold, the bright red exterior supports the money for a presentable 450SL, but with dash, engine, top and underside all unshown the price is backed by a single view.
