What the photos show
- Grey-brown paint looks glossy and straight with the hardtop on, panel gaps look even, so no paint work shows as needed
- Black leather seats look clean and uncreased from behind, no reupholstery bill visible
- Dash looks uncracked and the wood console looks shiny and intact, so no dash or wood bill shows
- Engine bay looks tidy and complete, coolant tank is yellowed with age, so only small service items show, not a rebuild
- Can't judge the underside, no photo shows it, so underbody rust stays an open cost
- Can't judge the soft top, only the hardtop is shown fitted, so a soft-top bill could still be hiding
Money: No sold price is on file, but the tidy exterior, clean black interior and neat engine bay visible here support a solid 500SL result, with the soft top and underside unproven.
