About this car
1971 280SE 3.5 Cabriolet at Gullwing Motor Cars in Astoria, NY. The dealer's own page marks this car sold — it stays listed under the SOLD banner for reference and is left out of the price averages. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- cream paint is clean and glossy front, side and rear, no paintwork needed
- chrome bumpers and grille shine bright, hubcaps tidy, no replating bill
- brown soft top is up in most shots and looks clean, though the rear window looks cloudy, budget a window or top refresh
- brown leather seats look smooth and well kept in the one interior shot, no retrim needed
- dash and wood seen from the driver's door look warm and intact, no refinishing bill visible
- can't judge the engine bay, it is not shown, and the 3.5 V8 is the expensive part, so its condition stays open
- can't judge the underside, it is not shown, so floor and sill rust is unverified
Money: no sold price is on file, so value comes from visible condition — a smart, complete-looking 3.5 cabriolet with good leather supports strong money, discounted for the cloudy top window and the unseen V8 and underside.
