What the photos show
- blue-black paint is deep and glossy with straight panels all round, no paintwork needed
- chrome grille, window trim and badges are bright, no trim replacement needed
- beige leather seats show light creasing but no tears or splits, a feed and clean beats a retrim
- dash top looks smooth and uncracked with intact wood, no dash work needed
- engine bay is complete and reasonably tidy with a yellowed coolant tank, budget a tank swap not a rebuild
- underside is grimy with oil weep around the transmission pan and surface rust on the springs, budget a reseal and clean rather than rust repair
Money: at $6,166 sold, the glossy paint and sound beige interior support the price; the weeping transmission pan underneath is the one deferred bill to price in.
