About this car
Hemmings listing in Astoria, NY. Offered on Hemmings in Astoria, NY.
What the photos show
- red and black two-tone paint looks deep and glossy all around, no paint bill showing on what is shown
- chrome grille and bumpers shine clean, no re-chroming bill showing
- red leather seats and matching door cards look fresh and unmarked, no retrim bill showing
- white steering wheel and red dash look clean and complete, no dash bill showing
- black soft top looks taut and clean shown up and folded down, no top bill showing
- engine bay looks honest and used with aged hoses and wiring, so budget a tidy and service, not show detailing
- can't judge the underside — no underside photo in the gallery, so I can't judge the frame or floors
Money: at $79,500 the visible car looks like a finished, well-kept restoration, with the usual pre-war caveat that the unseen underside is where the remaining money risk lives.
