What the photos show
- red paint looks glossy and straight and the rear badge reads 560 SL, no repaint needed from what is shown
- black soft top is shown up and looks taut with a clear rear window, no new top needed from what is shown
- matching red hardtop is also shown fitted and looks clean, no hardtop money needed
- tan seats look worn and creased but untorn, budget conditioning rather than a retrim
- chrome bumpers and trim look bright, no chrome bill visible
- engine bay looks complete but dusty with white spotting on the radiator top, budget a detail and cooling check
- spare wheel well is heavily rusted, with brown corrosion spread across the whole floor under the spare, budget cutting out and repairing that well
- underside is not shown beyond the trunk well, so chassis rust underneath can't be judged
Money: at $11,750 the glossy red paint and both tops look the money, but the rusted-out spare wheel well is a real repair bill hiding under a presentable car.
