1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

• champagne paint looks glossy and straight at the same SportsCarLA yard as the silver 560SL in this batch, but this car wears burgundy trim, so no repaint bill shows
• burgundy leather seats look good overall, with a worn dark patch on the driver's bolster, so bolster repair money may be coming
• an aftermarket head unit sits in the dash, so returning to a period radio is money to plan if originality matters
• the black soft top looks taut with a clear rear window, so no top replacement bill shows
• the engine bay looks very clean and orderly, so no bay sorting money shows
• the VIN plate WDBBA48D1HA053925, dated 10/86, is photographed clearly, which saves identity-check hassle
• can't judge the underside — no underside photo in the sampled set, so a lift inspection is money well spent
• can't judge the trunk — no trunk photo in the sampled set, so check the spare well for rust in person

Money: at $36,500 the visible car is tidy and the bay is a plus — the driver bolster wear and the unseen underside and trunk are the money questions.
