1982 Mercedes-Benz 300TD

• Cream wagon paint is even and glossy with no rust or dents seen, so no paint money needed.
• Chrome grille, bumpers and roof rack are bright and complete, so no chrome or rack cost.
• Tan front and rear seats look clean with no tears, so no reupholstery bill.
• Door cards are complete but wrinkled and sagging in places, so budget a little for refitting if you want them tight.
• Dash and wood trim look clean and uncracked in the photos, saving a dash repair.
• Cargo area carpet and panels look clean and the cargo net bar is present, so no wagon rear trim to hunt down.
• Engine bay is complete and tidy, but the air cleaner lid is rusty and peeling, so budget for refinishing that piece.
• Bundt wheels are clean and Michelin tires have good tread, so no immediate tire spend.
• Underside is not shown in the sampled photos, so I can't judge underside rust or leaks from photos.

Money: At $14,750 the clean paint, seats and cargo area support the price for a 300TD wagon, with only sagging door cards and a rusty air cleaner lid as visible small costs.
