About this car
1988 560SL at Classic Auto Factory in DeKalb, IL. The dealer publishes no price for this car, so the number has to come from a call. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- the listing's only image file is named as a ChatGPT-generated image dated May 2026, so this is an AI-made picture and not a photograph of the actual car for sale, which means it proves nothing about the real car
- in that generated picture the red paint, tan seats and chrome all look flawless, but that perfection is rendered, not real, so no condition conclusion or savings can be taken from it
- can't judge the real car's paint at all, no genuine photo of it is provided, so paint cost is a complete unknown
- can't judge the real seats or interior, nothing authentic is shown, so upholstery cost can't be priced
- can't judge the dash, engine bay, top or underside, none of them appear in any real photo, so every major area is unverified
Money: with no price listed and the sole image being AI-generated rather than a photo of the car, there is no usable photo evidence at all, so the car should be treated as unseen until the seller provides real photographs
