About this car
1971 280SL at Fantasy Junction in Emeryville, CA. SOLD - page sits in the dealer's /sold/ section. The dealer's own page marks this car sold — it stays listed under the SOLD banner for reference and is left out of the price averages. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- black paint looks glossy in all three photos, no repaint bill showing here
- chrome bumpers and grille look bright, no rechrome needed on what is shown
- front number plate is rusty and bent looking, a tiny bill but it dates the presentation
- tan seats are only glimpsed with the top down, can't judge them properly so budget as unknown
- all three photos are outside front views, so the rear is not covered at all
- can't judge the dash, engine bay, soft top or underside, none of them are shown
Money: no sold price is on file, so value rests on the glossy black paint and chrome in three exterior photos, with interior and mechanical condition unproven.
