About this car
Hemmings listing in Astoria, NY. Offered on Hemmings in Astoria, NY.
What the photos show
- two-tone grey and black paint looks glossy and even, no peeling or damage showing, so no paint bill on what is shown
- chrome grille, bumpers and hubcaps shine clean, no re-chroming bill showing
- red leather seats and door cards look bright and intact, no retrim bill showing
- wood dash trim looks polished and complete, no dash bill showing
- dark soft top is shown up and folded and the fabric looks sound, though the top's rear window surround looks aged, so budget a top inspection rather than a new top
- engine bay is painted and tidy for its age with older wiring on show, so budget a sympathetic tidy, not a rebuild, on what is visible
- can't judge the underside — no underside photo in the gallery, so I can't judge the frame or floors
Money: at $79,500 the photos show a finished, shiny older restoration, and the money risk sits underneath where no photo goes — an underside inspection decides whether the price is fair.
