1957 Mercedes-Benz 220S

• silver over black two-tone paint looks straight and glossy, the outside needs no paint money
• chrome grille and bumpers are bright, no rechrome bill on the outside
• black leather is cracked and crazed front and back, budget for a full retrim or a proper leather restoration
• wood dash is faded and worn at the edges, budget to refinish the wood
• engine bay is rusty, with a corroded air cleaner and peeling paint on the inner wings, budget real money to sort it
• white soft top is up and complete but its rear window looks brown and cloudy, budget for a window or top
• trunk carpet is stained and tired, a smaller bill but it adds up
• can't judge the underside, no underside photos in the set, so price in an inspection

Money: no sold price is on file, so judge it on visible condition only — a presentable exterior hiding cracked leather, worn wood and a corroded engine bay, and that hidden work is where the money goes.
